GuardWash® is a high-performance cleaner formulated to remove organic staining and common surface contamination from porous building materials. It effectively tackles mould, mildew, algae, moss, tannins, leaf marks, pollution, greasy stains and other moisture-related soiling that can build up on exposed surfaces.

Fast Deep Cleaning Action

GuardWash® is designed for simple, efficient application. Apply the product directly to the affected surface and allow it to work—no rinsing is normally required. For surfaces where residue needs to be removed, GuardWash® can be rinsed approximately 24 hours after application.

The product can also be left on the surface to provide a residual cleaning effect.

Its powerful formula penetrates deep into the surface to break down stubborn organic build-up without damaging the material underneath. Ideal for both residential and commercial applications, Guard Wash® delivers professional-grade cleaning results with minimal effort.

Guard Wash® can be used on renders, walls, roofs, floors, paving, concrete, stone, tiles and other exterior materials, making it a versatile solution for ongoing maintenance and restoration projects.

Gentle on Porous Building Materials

GuardWash® is free from potash, hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid. Unlike harsh acidic or corrosive cleaning products, it is designed to clean without damaging suitable treated surfaces or altering their colour.

This makes GuardWash® a versatile choice for cleaning and maintaining porous materials including concrete, natural stone, artificial stone and terracotta.

Ideal for Green and Black Staining

Porous surfaces exposed to moisture and the elements can develop unsightly green, black or brown staining over time. GuardWash® is specifically designed to address organic contamination such as mould, mildew, algae, moss and tannins, helping restore the appearance of weathered surfaces.

For long-lasting protection after cleaning, we recommend applying a suitable Guard Industry sealer to help protect the surface against future staining, moisture and environmental contamination.

Simple to apply by sprayer or brush, Guard Wash® works quickly to lift dirt and contamination from surfaces. Depending on the level of soiling, results continue to improve after application as the product keeps working over time.

Application

• • Guard Wash® is ready to use, do not dilute.
  • Always test on the material before application.
  • Spray onto a dry or slightly damp material.

Recommendation:

• • Dirty material+ = 1 coat.
  • Dirty material++ = 2 coats. 1 hour interval.
  • Dirty material+++ = 3 coats. 1 hour interval.
  • On vertical surfaces, always apply from bottom to top.
  • Rinsing is not required, but removes the last residue. – If rinsing, wait 24 hours and use a high-pressure cleaner.
  • Before repainting or applying a protective product, the material must be completely rinsed off and dry (refer to the finishing product data sheet).
